In the realm of decision solutions software, navigating the complexities of various knowledge types, such as declarative, procedural, meta, heuristic, and structural, is crucial for effective decision-making. Integrating these diverse knowledge forms into software poses significant challenges, including comparing systems, developing AI agents with sufficient knowledge depth, and keeping pace with the latest representation models, highlighting the difficulty companies encounter in selecting and implementing software that optimally supports decision-making processes.

Speaker Bio:

Nicole Cevallos

Nicole is a dedicated Health Data Analyst Researcher at the University of Texas at Arlington, where they spearhead research initiatives focused on public health data to devise impactful interventions and inform policy decisions. With a profound commitment to advancing public health through data science, Nicole  is concurrently pursuing a Master’s in Business Analytics, melding their fervor for data science with their passion for public health.

Emphasizing a robust skill set in predictive modeling, machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization, Nicole applies their expertise across a diverse array of projects spanning multiple industries and technological spheres. Noteworthy accomplishments include the design of interactive dashboards for sectors such as agricultural sustainability, biopharmaceuticals, and health technology.

Gabrielle Cevallos

As an emerging professional in the field of Business Analytics, the Gabrielle is currently advancing their expertise through a Master of Science in Business Analytics degree, complemented by a solid foundation in Public Health and a minor in Chemistry from their undergraduate studies. In their capacity as a Research Assistant, they have cultivated a deep proficiency in research methodologies, with a special focus on their application within the healthcare and airport security sector. Their passion lies in harnessing the power of data analytics to drive improvements in healthcare delivery and outcomes, rooted in the principles of public health. This interdisciplinary approach has enabled them to develop a unique skill set that bridges the crucial gap between healthcare and advanced data analysis. Gabrielle  is eager to contribute their insights and discoveries towards the evolution of strategic business analysis can play a pivotal role in solving some of the most pressing challenges.
