IIBA Dallas Chapter
Jamie is a Business Analyst Manager at CVS Health specializing in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) solutions. Prior to CVS Health, Jamie was a Technical Specialist at UPS Airlines. After many years of programming, a UPS imaging system migration project sparked her interest in defining, analyzing and documenting requirements. She switched to the Business Analyst role and hasn’t looked back since. Jamie has also had the pleasure of filling multiple IT roles at Prudential and a Data Imaging start-up company. With a background in all phases of the SDLC, she has a robust understanding of what it takes to succeed in IT as a BA. Jamie received her Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Cumberland University. She continues to educate herself through online IIBA Endorsed Education Providers along with project management courses at the University of Texas at Dallas. Adding to an already great group of selfless individuals passionate about the Business Analyst discipline, her number one goal is to make the IIBA Dallas Chapter a calendar event members of the BA community don’t want to miss.
VP of Membership
Paula Nix is serving in a Business Solutions Analyst III role with AmerisourceBergen, a global healthcare solutions leader. Prior to AmerisourceBergen, Paula was a Sr. Business Analyst at McKesson.
Paula stumbled into her career as a Business Analyst 20 years ago when a manager, looking to fill a position, said “Tag, you’re it.” After a rocky start, Paula received training in Business Analysis, found some great mentors, and continually seeks to sharpen her craft. It is also why she is passionate about IIBA with access to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK), the library of books, webinars on professional development topics and the knowledge sharing and networking opportunities through the IIBA Dallas Chapter.
Paula has been a member of the IIBA since 2010 and a member of IIBA Dallas Chapter since 2013
VP of Programs
Vinita is currently a Manager with KPMG. Vinita has over 24 years of total experience in both Business and IT. Vinita has experience with leading IT implementations mainly in the Procurement, Supply Chain, Tax and Finance areas. Vinita has experience across multiple industries and has played multiple different roles including Implementation Management, Project Management, Business Analysis, Test Lead and Service/Support Management.
Vinita was raised in Dubai, UAE and came to the US in 1995. Vinita enjoys what she does and loves creating new relationships and helping individuals/clients/customers/users address their needs with beneficial and effective solutions.
Vinita is an AVID learner and is very passionate about honing her skills to help her stay on the cutting edge. Vinita has the following certifications - Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified SaFe Product Owner, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, SAP FICO certified.
VP of Finance
Stacy is a Sr. Business Analyst/Consultant with over 12 years of experience in the IT industry. She started her IT career at Microsoft as a Project Manager and transitioned to the Business Analyst world upon moving to Dallas, TX. She has strong experience working with clients documenting user processes, requirements, and utilizing multiple technologies. Stacy holds a Master of Arts in Psychology from Northwest University and a Certificate in User Centered Design from the University of Washington.
VP of Operations
Komal is currently a Sr. Business Analyst with Nationstar Mortgage. Prior to this, Komal served as a Business Analyst at 1Worldsync. She has also volunteered with IIBA Dallas and looks forward to serving as VP of Operations.
VP of Technology
Rick is a Senior Business Analyst at Harley Davidson Financial Services. He has 20+ years of experience in IT, with over 10 years as a Business Systems Analyst. His work as a Business Analyst has mostly been in the Banking and Finance Industry, but he also has experience in e-Commerce, pharmaceuticals, and local and federal government taxation. Rick is a recent transplant from Chicago and looks forward to supporting the Dallas IIBA chapter.
