IIBA Dallas Chapter Meeting July 18, 2019

Thursday, July 18, 2019 -
5:00pm to 7:00pm

Robotic Process Automation. What is it and what does a BA need to know about it.
Robotic process automation (RPA) enables organizations to effectively automate tasks, streamline processes, increase employee productivity, and ultimately deliver satisfying customer experiences. An RPA Business Analyst can be involved in the many aspects of the end-to-end delivery of agreed robotic processes, from helping to define goals of the business transformation to the actual implementation of the automated processes.

Join us for an introductory session on Robotic process automation (RPA) and how a Business Analyst can get involved in this hot new trend.

  • What is RPA?
  • How is RPA different than traditional automation?
  • What are the benefits of RPA?
  • What defines a good opportunity for automation?
  • What types of requirements does the BA illicite for RPA?

This session and discussion will be led by Ramesh Balanagu, Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Program Manager covering the entire spectrum of Automation.  Ramesh leads DFWRPA, a year old meetup in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and one of the largest in the country centered on A.I. and Automation.
