IIBA Dallas Chapter Board members are elected every two years on a staggered schedule. Vacant positions may be filled between elections by Board appointments. Serving as a Chapter officer is a voluntary two-year commitment to the governance of our local chapter of the IIBA and represents an investment in time and skill. President
Craig Leger, Ph.D., CPOA
Craig Leger is a Systems Requirements manager with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and the IIBA Certification in Product Ownership Analysis (CPOA).
Craig serves as the Associate Director of the Systems Engineering Laboratory of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE).
Craig has led requirements engineering teams for over 20 years in telecommunications and transportation. He is also a member of the Association of Business Process Management Professionals International (ABPMP) and ISACA, an international professional association focused on IT governance.
Vice President of Finance
Brenda L. Tsai Meu Chong
Brenda Tsai Meu Chong has worked as a business analyst since 2004, having begun her career as a systems engineer/information analyst. She holds the following certifications: CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Professional, CSPO – Certified Scrum Product Owner, POPM – Product Owner Product Manager and RAP – Risk Adjustment Practitioner. She has worked exclusively in healthcare roles in the health risk insurance, laboratory, Veterans Affairs and pharmaceutical industries, with experience in both Medicaid and Medicare Advantage. Brenda’s expertise lies in product strategy, creative problem solving, analysis, quality assurance and storytelling.
Vice President of Communications & Marketing
Akinyemi Adesunloro
The Vice President of Communications & Marketing is responsible for the timely dissemination of information both to and from the Chapter membership
Vice President Professional Development
Harish Balaskandan
The Vice President of Professional Development will be responsible for promoting Business Analysis Professionalism through the organization and delivery of educational publications, seminars, and informational updates, including changes to the BA Body of Knowledge to help Business Analysts in the Business Analysis profession.
Vice President of Programs
Kathy Claycomb
The VP of Programs shall be responsible for securing Chapter meeting speakers to present topics beneficial to the Business Analyst community.
Vice President of Event Planning/Engagement
Apoorva Vasamsetti
The VP of Engagement will be responsible for using branded content to establish relationships with companies that have an interest in Business Analysis. The VP of Engagement will work with the Board leadership to develop a strategy for corporate outreach. The VP of Engagement will work with Board leadership and the VP of Membership to plan and coordinate an annual professional networking event for business analysts, Chapter members, recruiters and companies.
